How To Teach Literature To A High School Students

  You can't teach literature to students with a rigid agenda by saying ,for example, I want  my students to learn this theme only from the story.You have to let them think on their own ,to ask questions,and ask them questions like "how do you think you'd feel if you were in that situation " or"do you think you'd would do the same thing in that situation like the character did ?".That's how you teach literature. That's how you let students get engaged with the story ...When you teach a class of literature in a way that's meaningful and that means something to the students, they will never forget it .
